On November 26, 1924, 98 years earlier, Mongolia had ratified the first constitution, transferred from the Kingdom to the republic, abolished its sovereignty, and legalized a new system of national democracy, important principles of sovereignty, and a new political system—a milestone in Mongolia’s history. Since then, the 26th of November has been marked by a perfect ceremony and today we are celebrating our 98th year. We have been celebrating this day as a holiday for the State Department for a little while.
A festive meeting was organized on the occasion of the day of the declaration of the state, and MP Ts. Sandag-Ochir, representatives of the district assembly and the leaders of government organizations came and congratulated the government employees.
The President of Mongolia, U. Khurelsukh, handed over the statue of the Great Emperor Genghis Khan to the state institutions in accordance with Decree No. 159 on the veneration of the statue of Genghis Khan.
Also, B. Erdenebayar, the head of the Court Office who has been in the government service for the longest period of time, and O. Shijir-Od, the youngest civil servant, Media Officer of the Office of the District Assembly, shared their opinions with the officers.
